The Construction and Built Environment curriculum area serves a wide array of leading employers in the region. It provides specialist training to Advanced Apprentices in Civil Engineering and Building Services Engineering, and full time courses for Level 3 learners motivated to enter the construction industry in a range of professional roles. Solihull College also provides a range of related Higher Education courses which serve as attractive progression opportunities for graduating Apprentices and full time Level 3 learners.

We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer to join a high-profile team delivering Professional Construction courses across the range of Level 3 provision. The successful candidate will hold a Level 4/5 qualification in a Professional Construction subject. They will have the ability to work proactively and inspire students within this subject area. The ability to teach across a broad range of topics within this subject area, such as CAD and mathematics, would be advantageous. Opportunities to also be involved in the delivery of related Higher Education courses will also be considered depending on the qualifications and specialisms of the successful candidate.
