Job overview
Based at our Harrow-Weald Campus, we are seeking an experienced SEN/PMLD Lecturer to plan, develop, coordinate and implement individual curriculum programmes for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties include (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism. You would provide a holistic education programme, integrating sensory, academic, social and emotional needs of individual students, and teach on a range of programmes across the College.
You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of teaching learners with ASD, SLD and PMLD, including Functional Skills and preferably delivery of RARPA, together with up-to-date knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. You should possess a degree or appropriate qualification in the relevant area, and either possess or be willing to obtain an advanced level teaching qualification.
