We are currently looking to appoint Lecturers who will support planned growth in maths provision across the College, and will provide high-quality and flexible, teaching, learning and assessment on Functional Maths, GCSE Maths and other relevant maths qualifications including the new Core maths. The positions will also in involve delivering mathematics in a range of FE contexts, with a focus on 16-18 study programmes. In addition, the positions will involve supporting the planning, development, organisation, delivery and course management of high-quality, responsive Functional Maths, GCSE and other relevant Maths provision within the department.
The successful candidates will hold a specialist Level 4/5 Maths qualification (or specialist PGCE). They must also hold a Level 2 English/Literacy qualification. They must also hold a teaching qualification (Certification of Education, PGCE or equivalent).
We have a full time role available working 35 hours per week, and a part time role available working 17.5 hours per week. The positions will be based at our Birkenhead sites.
