Hours of Work:Full and part-time depending on role 

Full Year/Term Time: Full year  Fixed Term Contracts – 12 months with potential to go permanent  

Are you interested in joining a dynamic team of Teachers and SEND Support Facilitators?  We have teaching opportunities available in the Supported Learning Department at our CRC Cambridge Campus, including:

Full-time – 37 hour week

 • Lecturer, Supported Learning (Retail)

 • Lecturer, Supported Learning (Horticulture and workshop skills)  

Part-time – 18.5 hour week 

• Lecturer, Supported Learning (Life Skills)  

These roles are highly rewarding and enjoyable, offering a varied opportunity to teach young people a range of life skills, including Maths, English and discovery of their first vocational interests as per the above.  

Ideally you will hold a teaching qualification and have experience in teaching, learning and assessment of young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties and disabilities. You will also need to have knowledge in the relevant specialism, along with skills to be able to teach English and Maths from Entry to Level 1.

Cambridge Regional College is a co-educational further education college located in Cambridge. Providing places to students aged 14 and over, the college has several thousand learners young and old, full and part-time. Cambridge Regional College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation over the years, and as such can boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, with the most recent major development, which opened in 2011, providing the college with a brand new Low Carbon Centre. The college also plays host to a number of vocational teaching workshops and study areas.
