Do you have passion and energy for the sports and leisure industry?  Are you a pro-active, friendly and customer focused individual?  

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to come and join us in our Sports Facilities Department at Shrewsbury School, working on a shift pattern on a full-time basis.  You will be providing a safe, clean and friendly environment for all our customers.  It would be an advantage if you have already been in a Lifeguard position or have worked in a similar environment.

The Leisure Assistant will be called upon to undertake duties to suit in supervising the sports facilities with particular focus in the swimming pool; ensuring the safety and comfort of all users.  To provide all visitors and pupils to the Sports Facilities with a friendly and positive experience, through delivering effective customer services and high standards of housekeeping.

A good standard of education as well as a Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) would be an advantage but not essential, together with a first aid and/or defibrillator qualification.  Training will be provided for the right applicant.
