Job overview

South Dartmoor Community College and the Atrium are currently looking for a motivated individual to work alongside our Community Sports Manager at our Ashmoor Sports Centre based here at the College.  Ashburton is known as the ‘Gate Way to Dartmoor’, as you will see the complex is set in a picturesque rural setting.  The Ashmoor Centre is used by students and the public; facilities include a Gym, Sports Hall, Dance Studios, Tennis Courts, Golfing Range, Cricket Nets, vast grass sports pitches and our new, floodlit 3G Football pitch.  The 3G pitch is regulated by the Devon FA and hired to local teams and community groups.  The Gym will be reopening in the coming weeks. 

Willingness to undertake a L2 Fitness Course would be advantageous.  Working hours are 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.  This job involves shift work within the following hours,  Monday to Friday 4.30 pm to 10.00 pm (3 days) and weekend 9.00 am to 2.00 pm (1 day).
