Are you an experienced, self-motivated Leisure Facilities Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of service, looking for your next move?

You will be responsible for the operation of the School swimming pool and sports facilities, supervise the team and support the Commercial Manager to increase income generation for the School.  You should have an events based knowledge within the leisure industry, be able to teach some swimming lessons and cover some pool duties alongside identifying and promoting new business development opportunities in addition to our highly successful Swim School. You will supervise a team of four Senior Recreation Assistants, Casual Recreation staff and four Swimming Teachers, who you’ll act as a mentor and role model.

You should have a proven level of experience in supervising a leisure team and the day-to-day management of a leisure facility, be passionate about delivering great service, and excited to be part of the growing success here at Royal Russell School. You should also have your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with up to date NPLQ training records, AED and a First Aid certificate together with a Pool Plant Operators qualification and Swim England/STA level 2 teaching qualification. It goes without saying that you will have good organisational, planning, administration, IT and communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and be enthusiastic, reliable and flexible.

We have recently undertaken a complete refurbishment of our pool facilities and are looking forward to re-opening with a new team who will inspire our School community to achieve success in swimming.
