Bowling Park exists to prepare and support children for their future, in a happy, healthy and safe environment. We want all our children to enjoy learning and to have the highest expectations of themselves.

Our school is about preparing children for their futures and life in modern Bradford, Britain and the wider world. We work together with families to build children’s expectations, hopes and ambitions. We want to give all children, regardless of their background, faith, gender, ability or ethnicity, the opportunity to be successful learners, to develop leadership and communication skills, be rounded individuals and build character.

Children at Bowling Park make excellent progress, not just in their learning (our progress scores in 2019 put us in the top 2% of schools nationally) but also as scientists, geographers, explorers, athletes, artists, designers, engineers, friends and more. Our children are determined to have successful, happy and fulfilled lives, despite the many challenges they face. Bowling Park sits in an area of high deprivation, where opportunities are difficult to find and families sometimes have low aspirations for their children. Being a kid in our community can be very difficult.

The logistics of our school are quite unique.. We have two sites that cater for nursery to year 6, which sit one mile apart. We are in the heart of Bradford and span two postcodes, BD4 and BD5, both of which face similar challenges. Our school is three-form entry.

Staff at our school are hard-working, determined and good-humored. They want the very best for our children and families. We have a strong track record of staff development, supportive environment and an open door policy.

More information about our school can be found by visiting our website Home (bowlingpark.school)
