£325- £375 per week

Flexible daily rate £65 -75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are recent Level 2 or above in Primary Education, teachers/NQTS/ECTS are also welcomed to apply.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be able to approach the educational environment with confidence.

• Promotes the school values and ethos

• Assist in the planned learning activities 

• Plan and prepare activities in line with school objectives

• Promote good behaviour, dealing proactively and within school policies.

• Encourage to complete learning objectives

• Can provide 1-1 support, small group and whole group cover. 

• Able to take direction from the Teaching staff but also uses own initiative.

• plans, reviews and evaluations of pupils 

• Reports on pupils’ progress and attendance at meetings

Requirements

To be considered for Teaching Assistant (TA) positions, you must:

• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject or recent experience with children. 

• Have experience supporting children to academically challenge themselves. 

• Good Maths and English skills

• Patience and sense of humour 

• SEN experience desirable but not essential

• Be able to adapt to different routines daily.

• Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.

• Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Mon-Fri.

• DBS on the update system is an advantage, however we can support the process of this.
