Grade 2 (spine point 11-19) £17,007 - £19,446 pa, pro rata
Actual Salary for 32.5 hours per week (8.15am to 3.15pm), term time only £13,242-£15,141
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 11-18 years with a range of additional needs. This role will involve supporting students across the whole range of curriculum subjects. Primarily, you will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of a named child to enable him to make best use of the educational opportunities available.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people although this is not essential. Their most important attribute will be a desire to make a difference to the lives of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged students.
To apply for the Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you should either be qualified to NVQ Level 2, or be willing to work towards obtaining this qualification.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for the role.
