Job overview
We are looking to appoint a Level 3 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our caring and enthusiastic team, to work within class supporting upper key stage 2 children, some with emotional difficulties, challenging behaviour and specific sensory needs. This will be on a one-to-one basis or supporting the children in small groups.
The successful candidate will possess a relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 and be able to communicate progress accurately and effectively to both class teacher and parents. Previous experience of working with children with specific learning difficulties is essential.
