ABC Teachers are working on behalf of a large 3 form entry Primary Academy who are seeking to recruit a level 3 LSP to work in Year 3. The school in question is in Smethwick which is based in Sandwell. The role requires someone who is flexible, adaptable and dedicated as it is 5 days a week for the full academic year. It is due to start in September 2018, so will require someone who is available straight away.

This Academy’s partner is the Elliot Foundation and together they are committed to working with children, families and the local community supporting children to be Successful Learners, Confident Individuals & Responsible Citizens. This school values high standards of education as well as developing children’s sense of self and their responsibilities to the wider community. The ideal candidate will be fortunate not only to be working in a brand-new school building, designed to facilitate a wide range of learning styles, but also to have a team which is enthusiastic about, and utterly committed, to the children.

To be successful in this role you will-

· Be qualified to a minimum level 3 in support and teaching

· Have at least 6 months experience in the last 2 years

· Have an up to date DBS or be willing to complete a new one

· Be able to provide 2 educational references

· Be experienced in KS2/ Year 3

Located in Smethwick, this makes it easily accessible from west Birmingham, Sandwell and parts of Dudley. For those that don’t drive, there are great public transport routes that take you in and around the area.
