Job overview

ABC Teachers are working in close partnership with a busy school in Rednal, Birmingham to recruit a full-time teaching assistant. The position will be full time and will require someone who is comfortable teaching across all year groups in KS2.

The school itself is a rapidly progressing primary which has excellent resources across the school and has a dedicated team who work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment. The school is overseen by a passionate Head who is looking to recruit someone who can uphold the school’s values and act as a positive role model to all.

The successful candidate must:

- Be NVQ level 3 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject

- Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum

- Be an organised and reliable individual

- Demonstrate a full understanding of health and safety, and safeguarding procedures

- Show devotion towards pupil development

- Be consistent in maintaining high standards

- Have previous experience of working on a 1-1 or small group basis

Requirements:

To be considered for the Level 3 teaching assistant position, you will:


• Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (equivalent or above) in a relevant subject 

• Have previous experience of working within a mainstream primary school (must be able to provide referenceable experience within the last 5 years)

• Have a passion for education
