Librarian

Fettes College is a leading HMC co-educational boarding and day school set in magnificent grounds within walking distance of Edinburgh’s City Centre. It has a strong tradition of academic, sporting and cultural excellence underpinned by outstanding pastoral care. 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified individual to join us as Librarian.  The Library is situated in the very heart of the school, a location which reflects its key position in the life of Fettes. 

Our librarian is responsible for the effective day-to-day running and management of the school library by creating a welcoming and stimulating environment in which pupils can work.

You should have experience in a similar role and be highly motivated to develop library resources and activities that integrate the library into the life of the whole school.  You should be well organised and able to work closely with teaching staff to support and guide students using the library resources.
