Librarian

Successful candidates will become members of the Citizens team, within a new and innovative educational hub in the heart of Dubai. 

The Librarian works in conjunction with the Head of Primary to ensure that the School has a library that is fully resourced and used effectively for all children and staff. The library at Citizens School is at the centre of our campus, reflecting its significance as the hub of learning for our school community. 

All staff at Citizens School place the highest importance on the well-being of all students, ensuring excellent levels of pastoral support and encouragement of every child. The Librarian will model the values of Citizens School and create a culture where all members of the community learn, thrive and collaborate, ensuring all individuals are empowered and nurtured, as Citizens School becomes known as a centre of excellence.

Requirements:

Qualification or experience to the role;

Fluency in English;

Preferably experience in an international setting;

Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language;

Recent and consistent involvement in cocurricular activities;

Proof of suitability for working with children (background check documentation).
