As Library Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running and development of the School Library. You will assist the School Librarian in managing the library’s book circulation and orders, including cataloguing and processing new purchases using the library management system.

This is a customer focused role, where you will be dealing directly with enquiries from library users and pupils on a daily basis. You will be encouraged to deliver book talks to pupils and get involved in supporting pupils with research activities. You will also be trained to use the multiple database systems as well as receive training in Health & Safety procedures, as heavy items are included in the library collection.
