We are seeking a Library Aide to undertake a variety of tasks within our school Library. You will assist with library activities and provide information services to students across all year levels and school staff.
Duties include:
- facilitating circulation of resources;
- maintaining equipment and materials;
- providing administration support;
- assisting teachers and students; and
- associated library tasks.
Ideally you will:
- display an understanding of the work of a library or resource centre with experience and knowledge in the use technology;
- proven communication and interpersonal skills; and
- a sound knowledge of audio-visual equipment is highly desirable.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
Estimated start date: Commencing January 2023
Position tenure: Fixed Term
Weeks worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
Tenure duration (where Fixed Term): 2023 School Year
Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: Monday to Thursday (24 hours)
Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour
