St Aubyn’s School is looking to appoint a full-time Library Assistant to support the School Librarian in promoting and developing the School Library in order to provide a welcoming, creative learning environment for pupils, staff and parents.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a keen interest in children’s literature and would like to develop a career in school libraries.
- a love of reading, enthusiasm for the library and all that it can offer.
- previous library experience or working in a school environment.
- experience of working with children and young people is desirable, though not essential.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, enthusiastic, hard working team, who consistently strive to improve teaching and learning, and continue to raise standards.
