We have state of the art facilities and an excellent learning/working environment, including a sports complex, aeronautical and aviation centre, arts centre and specialist vocational workshops.

At present we employ 269 salaried teaching and assessing staff. We also employ 256 administrative staff, 38 managers and approximately 200 hourly paid teachers and assessors. Library Information Assistant – Temporary sickness cover 

£8.76 per hour 

We are looking for a confident and outgoing person to help promote and support electronic and printed information resources in the College Libraries and Open Access Centres. 

You must have experience of working with young people and have well-developed information literacy skills as well as good all-round IT skills. This is a customer-facing role so effective communication skills teamed with excellent people skills are essential as is a commitment to Equality and Diversity and Equal Opportunities. Recent public or academic Library experience would be advantageous. 

The post is sickness cover therefore availability for an immediate start is essential.
