Charterhouse School, Shenzhen, offers an exciting opportunity to be a founding member at our new campus as a Library Manager. We are seeking creative and progressive staff to build our reputation as an inspiring and dynamic learning community.

This role would suit an experienced Librarian, already living in China.

We have several positions available from Grades 1-5.

We are looking for a Library Manager who:

  • Will be integral to the initial set up and the founding of our school library
  • Is highly organised, motivational and flexible.
  • Can support teachers and students in teaching and learning
  • Is committed to high standards of achievement, progress and behaviour for all learners.
  • Can promote a well-organised and stimulating learning environment.
  • Is committed to the promotion of reading and library resources
  • Has good interpersonal skills and works well in teams.
  • Possesses excellent IT skills an interest in embedding ICT into the daily library experience.
  • Understands the value of the consistent application of school policies.
