The School is seeking to appoint a Part-time Library Services Assistant to support the smooth-running of the well-resourced and heavily-used Queen’s Library, located in the heart of the campus.
Previous experience of working in a school-setting may be an advantage, but is not an essential requirement.
The Library Services Assistant will work term-time only from 11.45am to 5pm (with a break of 15 minutes). The actual salary will be £11,862 per annum (pro-rata full time equivalent of £20,446 p.a.).

In 1573 Elizabeth I issued a Charter “for the establishment of the Free Grammar School of Queen Elizabeth in Barnet for the education, bringing up and instruction of boys in Grammar and other learning and the same to continue for ever.” Today QE remains a non-denominational, non-fee-paying, selective School with a mission of producing confident, able and responsible young men and, as such, continues to reflect the essential tenets of our Tudor Charter.
