About the Role

The College is seeking to recruit a Coordinator of Liturgy to join our team. The Coordinator of Liturgy is a specialist role and is key to embedding and building a vibrant Catholic culture in the College.  The College is seeking a person who is committed to the vision of the College ‘Living the truth, leading with courage, learning for life’ who is invested in and who will promote the apostolic mission of the Church and of Catholic education. The successful applicant will be a practising Catholic and experienced educator, will have demonstrated successful experience as a teacher of Secondary Religious Education and will possess initiative, integrity and vision. 

This appointment is temporary in nature as it replaces a teacher who is on leave or secondment.

Essential Criteria

Successful applicants for the position will demonstrate:

  • A deep commitment to Catholic education and the promotion of the mission of the Catholic Church
  • Experience as a teacher of Secondary Religious Education.
  • Knowledge and effective application of contemporary evidence-based practices in Religious Education
  • The ability to design and develop accessible and liturgically appropriate faith formation opportunities for staff, students and parents
  • Highly sophisticated written and verbal communication skills for a range of audiences
  • Ability to work collegially and collaboratively to plan and implement whole school goals and to effect change
  • Ability to implement CECG and College policy and strategic directions to improve student learning and wellbeing
  • Ability to form productive partnerships and constructive relationships with staff, students, families and College partners
