If you work well in a team and are looking for a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to undertake an array of different tasks, this is an excellent opportunity providing support in the Logistics Department of one of the leading co-educational boarding and day schools in the UK.

The Logistics Operative will be joining a team physically supporting the school’s development and expansion programme and duties may include:

  • Undertaking routine logistics work throughout the School as detailed on work schedules and job tickets, or as directed by the Logistics Manager.
  • Setting up and dismantling events and functions as directed.          
  • Driving large School vehicles, making deliveries and collections as directed.
  • Furniture, fixtures and fittings handling.
  • Rubbish collection and handling.
  • Occasionally assembling flat pack furniture along with some furniture maintenance.
  • Maintenance duties that may involve clearing, cleaning, and painting
  • Assisting in portable appliance testing (PAT) (training provided)

If you possess good communication skills and some relevant experience, we would be delighted to hear from you. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
