Values and vision

The school works hard to provide consistent teaching and does a great deal to develop social skills among students. Teachers aim to ensure that all of pupils, in particular those from non-English-speaking households, have a solid grounding in the basics of literacy and numeracy, in order to help them in their later education.

Allenton Community Primary School promotes tolerance and harmony among its pupils, even across different year groups, in order to ensure that children treat themselves and each other with respect and decency.

Ofsted report

“Pupils are becoming increasingly accomplished in assessing the quality of their own work and that of others in their class. Presentation is improving overall and there is some high-quality writing taking place, particularly in Year 6.”
