Teaching Science using the CAIE Curriculum on a tropical island in Southern Thailand

I am looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Lower Secondary Science teacher to join and international school located on Koh Samui.

The school (Panyadee, the British International School of Samui), is located in the Gulf of Thailand.  The school is 14 years old but has grown quickly and now boasts over 500 students from nursery up to A-level.  

The role itself is teaching to Year 7 and 8 classes around 20 lessons per week.  Each class has a maximum of 20 students

The position is offering a two year contract paying 60,000 Baht per month.  The package also includes:

  • Participation in a provident style account .  This means 3% of your monthly salary gets added to the fund each month.  The school matches that amount and the total accrued figure is paid out upon completion of contract.
  • Accident insurance
  • Work permit and visa paid for by the school
  • Social Security coverage
