We are Co-op Academy Southfield. Co-op Academy Southfield is a special secondary academy in Bradford, graded as 'good with outstanding features' by Ofsted.

Co-op Academy Southfield provides education for students aged 11 to 19 years with clearly identified special educational needs who have an Education Health and Care Plan.

With 310 students and over 200 staff the school is one of the larger special schools in the country. We have high aspirations for our students which means that we have to have high expectations of all of our staff.  A willingness  to communicate, collaborate and co-operate is essential if we are to get this right for our students and their families.

We are co-located in a purpose-built building with Co-op Academy Grange, a mainstream secondary school. Our sixth form provision is housed across Haycliffe Lane on a smaller site. It offers specialist education and training to provide pathways to our students for life after school.

We’re part of a multi-academy trust - Co-op Academies Trust, sponsored by Co-op. With academies across the North of England, Co-op Academies Trust is committed to co-operative values and providing outstanding educational opportunities for young people.
