Lunchtime Support Assistants Needed!

Location: Greenwich

Pay £10-15 per hour via PAYE

Contract dates: ASAP start date

Smart Teachers are working with a wonderful SEN school in Greenwich who are looking to appoint daily lunchtime support assistants.

The schools we work with cater for students who have MLD, PMLD, SLD and SEMH needs. Experience of working with children or adults with these needs is desirable and the mindset to make a difference. We are working with nurseries, primary, secondary and colleges all designed to support SEND students.

The typical role would be supporting students with feeding and then helping set up and deliver stimulating activities on the playground. This role would require candidates to be free from 11:30am until 13:30- the opportunity to extend the day by remaining with the class for a TA morning or afternoon is often possible.

Requirements for Lunchtime Support Assistants

• Have previous experience of working with SEN students.

• Free from 11:00-13:00 daily.

• Able to travel in Greenwich and Southeast London.

• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to complete one?

• Have right to work in the UK.

Smart Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
