Job overview

We are seeking a Machinist (Instructor) in Engineering. This role will involve demonstrating the use of engineering equipment. The role involves supporting tutors during classes and organising maintenance and equipment for workshop activities in engineering workshops.   

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills:    

•Confident communication with effective presentation skills 

•Excellent organisational and collaborative team-working skills 

•An approachable, friendly and professional manner  

Candidate will also hold or be willing to work towards:    

•Level 3 Award in Teaching, Assessment and Quality Assurance or equivalent 

•Willingness to undertake training     

Experience and qualification  

•A recognised qualification in a technical subject   

•Relevant experience as a technician in industry or in a training provider
