Calderdale College is looking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced individual to work in the Employer Responsive Provision area with apprentices across the Apprenticeship provision to ensure that timely success and achievement of their Functional Skills. As a Functional Skills tutor you will work closely with the Team Leaders and Training Officers to ensure responsive delivery models, whether face to face or remote, ensure needs of all apprentices are being fully met & that all apprentices are making progress to achieve their Functional Skills & their learning goals. Experience of working with apprentices & with a flexible & responsive delivery model is essential. The individuals appointed will be self -motivated and focused individuals who work effectively as part of a team & will have the ability to reflect & adapt to the range of situations
The main purpose of the role is to ensure apprentices make progress & to achieve timely success in all Functional Skills.
The role requires a well- qualified and experienced individual who can demonstrate success in previous roles. This includes the capacity to develop & deliver contextualised Maths & English to Level 2 in both the classroom and remotely is essential. This individual will also be an exemplary role model to their learners
