Description Part-time Permanent position for a Maintenance / Groundsman at St Dominic's Centre, Mayfield working 8 hours per week. The working days will be determined in consultation with the principal. St Dominic’s centre is a K-10 catholic School.
Position Requirements • Perform maintenance tasks unsupervised
• Manage the school's maintenance program
• Maintain school buildings
• Comply with security provisions
• Have an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school
• Rubbish collection and removal etc
• Have an understanding of WHS requirements
• St Dominic's is a K-10 school for students with additional needs. It caters for a range of disabilities including deaf or hard of hearing, moderate cognitive delay and Autism Spectrum Disorder
Essential Criteria • Current NESA and Working With Children number must be recorded on application.

Conditions of EmploymentSalary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017.

The Catholic Schools Office (CSO), is responsible for the leadership, efficient operation and management of systemic schools which educate more than 18,000 students in 45 Primary schools, 10 Secondary schools and one K-12 school in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.
