Dagenham Park Church of England School is seeking a male teaching assistant to support students to access learning in the classroom and to participate in the general life of the school. The role will commence as soon as possible.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient person to join our successful Learning Support Department. You will be assisting teachers to support students in the classroom and providing daily personal care for male students who require this help. You will have good communication skills and organisational skills. You will be calm, reliable and have a sense of humour! You will need to adapt to challenging situations and be able to form positive relationships with young people.
Experience of working in a school would be an advantage but is not essential.
Dagenham Park is a mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 multi-cultural Voluntary Controlled Church of England school. We moved into a brand new building with excellent teaching facilities in April 2012. The school has recently been subject to a highly successful Ofsted inspection.
