
Management Accountant

22.5 hours per week
The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking a professional and experienced individual for the role of Management Accountant to manage the operational finance function of our multi-academy trust. This is a fixed term role, linked to maternity leave, for up to one year. A permanent contract will be considered dependent on performance in post. This position is part time, 22.5 hours per week, all year round and we can offer a flexible working pattern, such as working within school pickup times.
Reporting into the Finance Director, this is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where you will be afforded the opportunity to expand your skill set and progress within an innovative organisation. The role will be suited to candidates in the final stage of, or fully qualified in their professional accountancy qualification. To succeed in the role, you will need to be detailed with strong systems experience, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
The UKAT Central Finance Team is comprised of a Finance Director, Finance Manager and three Finance Officers who are based in our head office within Brompton Academy. Our friendly and dedicated team work cohesively and actively seek continuous professional development and innovative strategies for supporting the business function.
