As an education charity, the Inspiration Trust is dedicated to giving the very best life chances to pupils in Norfolk and north Suffolk through our family of 14 schools, which range from nursery through to sixth form. To succeed, we need the best staff in the classroom and fast and efficient support staff to ensure our schools run smoothly.
We provide management support to our schools through central teams, and we need a management accountant to join our small but vital finance team. The right candidate will be highly organised, approachable with excellent communication skills, and the financial acumen to produce accurate monthly management accounts for a number of schools within our Trust. You will also need a flexible approach, working across the team to assist the Financial Accountant to ensure we meet all regulatory and statutory requirements.
You will be responsible for delivery of monthly management accounts, liaising with key stakeholders like principals and central staff to help them understand and plan school and Trust finances. You will be responsible for the preparation and monitoring of budgets. You will need to be approachable, solution focussed, and able to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders through one on one and group discussions and presentations.
You will need to be fully AAT qualified as a minimum with experience of working in a finance environment Knowlege of the education finance sector would be an advantage.
