SALARY $118,321 P.A PLUS SUPER | START DATE: 20 JANUARY 2020
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced safety professional to lead, co-ordinate and provide expert advice supporting work health and safety (WHS) functions across Catholic Education Office and for 18 schools and colleges across the NT.
This role requires the successful candidate to travel to urban, regional and remote schools and colleges.
The successful candidate will have:
• A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS
• Thorough knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Self-Insurer Standards
• Proven ability to lead towards best practice, supporting an environment of continuous improvement; and
• Proven ability in the achievement of quality frameworks for risk management, legislative and self-insurer standards compliance.
This position may involve working with children. The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
