Are you an enthusiastic and caring team player who would like to join our Out of School care provision team? Do you have the skills to support the development of our Out of School care?

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring Manager /Supervisor to provide a range of activities in our Out of School care – SUNRISE AND SUNSET OUT OF SCHOOL CARE. The main focus of this role is to prepare and supervise the children in engaging, interesting and constructive activities.

You will:

• Plan and ensure safe and suitable activities are available including sports, arts & crafts, games etc. 

• Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment. 

• Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities. 

• Providing support and supervision to play workers and other staff, including volunteers. 

• Holding regular staff meetings and conducting regular reviews and appraisals for staff 

• Administration and record keeping, including staff and child records, financial records, ordering and purchasing, and working within an agreed budget. 

• Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the club, with schools, and especially with parents.    

• Undertaking appropriate and relevant training. 

• Monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.

Previous experience of working with children in the 3-11 age range is essential. A level 3 qualification or equivalent would be welcome.
