About the role

Reporting to the Manager: Marketing, the Marketing and Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and producing reports on the effectiveness of SCS’s campaigns. This role will also be responsible for the collection and organisation of data from various data sources to gather insights that will help inform future Marketing strategies.

Major Accountabilities

The Marketing and Data Analyst is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to;

  • developing management reports that assess the performance of a variety of marketing campaigns
  • producing data and reporting, alongside creating and sharing insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns
  • partnering with the wider team to create meaningful insights that help deliver on strategic and operational initiatives
  • building data visualisations and dashboards by combining multiple marketing data touchpoints
  • assisting in the preparation of new campaign modelling
  • using live campaigns and past data sources to make recommendations on strategy and promotional activity
  • providing insights and recommendations post-campaign analysis
  • analysing multiple data points across the team to find answers to specific questions, working with internal teams to ensure consistency across all reporting
  • any other duties as directed from time to time.

The Person

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

  • minimum of three years experience within a similar Marketing data analytics/insights role
  • proven strong analytical, data management and data insights experience
  • demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data with high attention to detail
  • proven ability to analyse large datasets
  • demonstrated advanced skills in Excel, Python, Proficient in SQL and working with CRM databases
  • proven experience with data modelling and forecasting
  • experienced in undertaking statistical data analysis and development of reports/dashboards xin tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • demonstrated ability to collaborate and interact with a range of internal stakeholders
  • demonstrated high-level time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demand
  • proven experience with Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics and Ad Manager 
  • proven structured problem-solving skills and logical thought process.
