An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing department. About the role:

1. Play a key role in the development of our visual online presence on social media and on the Trust and school websites.

2. Effectively plan to cover key events using the school calendar and weekly internal staff bulletins,

3. Take high quality photos/videos where necessary for publication on websites, social media accounts and various publications.

4. Write engaging Twitter posts and stories for the school's Twitter account and school website.

5. Maintaining and updating the schools Twitter account and making approved responses as required. 

6. Following educational specialists on social media to look for opportunities to contribute to discussions online and build relationships with them.

7. Ensure there is commonality of branding across the school.

8. Liaise with printing companies and the web host to ensure good quality service.

9. Oversee the content on the school’s notice boards and signage and update these as and when necessary.

10. Coordinate effective internal distribution of key materials and publications, ensuring that publication/material and displays are well maintained.

11. Maintain a schedule for outdoor banner updates, updating and ordering new banners to ensure that our displays are always current in line with our campaign and event schedules.

13. Maintain and update the school website as and when necessary.

14. Update existing publications as and when required.

We need you to be:

1. Strong ICT skills, including desktop publishing programmes. The school has use of publisher, InDesign and the full Abode Creative Studio Suite. Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Publisher, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook. 

2. Experience in taking digital photographs and modifying these for use in publications and website.

3. Proficient in web design - add, alter and monitor the school website to ensure that key information is uploaded.

4. Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

5. Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail and produce high quality of work.

6. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met. 

7. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and deal with people at all levels.

8. Ability to communicate confidently and effectively both orally and in writing. 

9. Open to change with a flexible approach.

10. Willingness to work to further the School’s aims with regard to equal opportunities and raising achievement and work cooperatively towards the aims of the school.
