Marketing Communications Officer

Cardiff Sixth Form College is looking for a Marketing Communications Executive to join its busy international marketing and admissions team.  The successful candidate will have excellent understanding of social media, created email campaigns, updated websites and helped produce marketing materials.  Previous experience in design, photographic and video editing is desirable.  This role would suit someone who is creative with a natural ability to formulate and execute new ideas.

The Marketing Communications Executive will work closely with the Head of International Marketing and Admissions and the marketing and admissions team and must have a keen eye for detail with the ability to multi-task.

The role requires the successful candidate to have exceptional communication skills including a friendly telephone and email manner and excellent written English.  They must be personable, reliable and efficient.  A good understanding of Microsoft Office is essential and video editing and/or basic Adobe and InDesign software skills would be desirable.  The successful candidate would also be required to obtain an in-depth understanding of the school’s admissions and management information system and use the website content manager.  Training will be provided but an ability to absorb new skills quickly is essential.
