Gresham’s School has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional marketing professional with experience of managing campaigns, delivering effective brand communications and researching markets and audiences. The Marketing Manager will have responsibility for developing and implementing marketing plans which will lead to the effective positioning and promotion of the school in support of its strategic plan. 


A track record of proven delivery, demonstrating both creative and analytical skills, is essential for this role. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work well under pressure while prioritising their own workload and have an instinctive feel for the school’s customers and their needs.


Gresham’s is an independent day and boarding school situated in the Georgian town of Holt. The school sits within 200 acres of glorious countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the North Norfolk Coast just a few miles away. 


At Gresham’s we offer a rare opportunity where children can join us at our Nursery and Pre-Prep School from the age of 2 and continue with their education at our Prep and Senior Schools to the age of 18. We recognise that every child has different strengths and talents and we pride ourselves on recruiting staff who can recognise, nurture and help pupils reach their true potential. 


The salary for this full-time role will be up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience.

About Gresham's School

Gresham’s is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 2-18. It is situated in the Georgian town of Holt in beautiful countryside, just three miles from the breathtaking North Norfolk coast.

The school was founded in 1555 by Sir John Gresham who forged close ties with The Worshipful Company of Fishmongers. On his death, he left the school in their care and strong links with them and the City of London remain to this day.

The school enjoys a generous campus with excellent facilities including a state-of-the-art music building (Britten) with its own recording studio, indoor and outdoor performance spaces including a theatre (Auden), multi-surface sports pitches, tennis courts, swimming pool, sports hall and shooting range. The Dyson Building opened at Gresham’s in September 2021. Sir James Dyson, a former pupil at the school, enabled the innovative new centre for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education.

The school has an impressive list of Old Greshamians including the composer Benjamin Britten, the poet WH Auden, Oscar winning actress Olivia Colman and international rugby players Tom and Ben Youngs, to name but a few.
