Ashville Harrogate is seeking to appoint a full time Marketing Manager to provide strategic leadership for marketing, external partnerships and community relations in order to maintain and further enhance Ashville’s position in the marketplace.
This is a role that offers an experienced marketing professional the opportunity to shape the marketing strategy and influence the strategic direction of the College at an exciting time in its history and to work alongside a strong and ambitious leadership team.
The successful candidate will be confident in leading a dedicated team and engaging all parties at all levels within the school environment. They will have a strong awareness of the independent education market including boarding; excellent verbal and written skills; and the ability to work on multiple projects to deadlines successfully. There will be a need to organise and attend events, manage the department budget, produce press releases and develop outstanding marketing materials. Some overnight and overseas travel will be required in this role.
Ashville College is an HMC, co-educational boarding and day school of 875 pupils.

Ashville College is a co-educational, independent school for day and boarding pupils aged 2–18. The college, set in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, comprises a pre-school, prep school and senior school with pupil numbers totaling around 870, 170 of whom are in the sixth form and 100 are boarders. The school is a registered charity, administered by Ashville College Trustees.
Ashville College was founded in 1877 as a boarding school for boys by the United Methodist Free Church. Expansion over the decades culminated in a merger with Elmfield College, Harrogate, in the 1930s, by which time Ashville was the largest private school in the north of England. The most significant development came in 1982 when the school become co-educational.
