Marketing Officer

Varndean CollegeBrighton and Hove

Varndean College is one of the most successful sixth form colleges nationally. Offering a broad range of academic and vocational courses, we have an excellent reputation for inclusion and adding value.

At Varndean College, we’re not just here to deliver a great education. We want to break down the barriers to learning, so people get the chance to become their best – whoever they are and whatever the challenges they face.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with digital marketing and graphic design skills, and a passion for marketing and communications, to support the Marketing Manager within the busy marketing office at Varndean College.

Along with the implementation of a wide range of marketing activities, including the design of College marketing materials, digital marketing, promotional photography/filming and co-ordination of events, the successful applicant will also be responsible for assisting with the College’s ever-growing online social media presence.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional and comfortable communicating with prospective students and parents, as well as members of College staff at all levels.  Experience of working in an educational setting would be a bonus; but more importantly, creativity, flexibility, the ability to work to strict deadlines and the desire to achieve successful outcomes.

Successful candidates must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends and also be a car driver.
