Tes are currently working on behalf of a well-run British Prep and Pre-Prep School in Al Ain, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, to recruit a passionate and creative Marketing Officer to start ASAP.

The new Marketing Officer will manage all aspects of the school’s brand and image, developing strategies, cultivating important relationships and will be key to attracting potential students to the school. 

This exciting and varied role is newly created and would be ideal for someone already based in the UAE with a background in marketing and communications, preferably, although not essentially, in the education sector. 

Responsibilities:

• Effectively market the school to prospective families by telling the school’s story through ‘shareable social content’. 

• Expand the nationalities of the students to truly reflect an international school. 

• Update and proof read all of the content posted on the school’s Social Media platforms.

• Ensure the school’s website is updated.

• Develop the school’s digital marketing and advertising.

• Develop printed materials and school giveaways.

• Establish and foster relationships with Al Ain businesses.

• To co-ordinate with admin/academic team in related issues to the appropriate tasks.

• To work alongside the Management Team and attend meetings as required.

• To work with Management on the relevant tasks.

• To co-ordinate the preparation of necessary material.

• To ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• University degree from a well-established University.

• Prior experience working in an international/independent school and/or fast changing cross- cultural environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organisational skills.

Communication:

• To liaise effectively with staff and with parents.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Influencing and negotiation skills

• IT skills

• Business and commercial acumen

• Drive and ambition
