An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketeer and line manager to join our College in the role of Marketing Supervisor. As an outstanding communicator, line manager and marketeer you will demonstrate the ability to deliver on the College’s key objectives while inspiring others through exceptional communication, engagement and partnership. As Marketing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading on and enhancing the delivery of all aspects of the College’s marketing service, including both digital and print. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all College events, including Learner Award Ceremonies, Higher Education and Professional Learner Graduations and other celebrations.

You will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, and experience in a marketing role with line management responsibilities. You will be able to demonstrate experience of supporting the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans.

The role will be based at Chester Campus, however you will be expected to work across all three Campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide clear day-to-day leadership in the development and delivery of marketing services, to ensure that it meets the needs to prospective and current learners, stakeholders and partners;

To develop a cohesive multi-channel marketing campaigns across all target markets;

Oversee the development and implementation of core key communication channels including the website development, social media platforms, print collateral and key publications; and

Lead and advise the senior leadership team on public relations.


Key Person Specification Requirements:

Degree and/or comparable professional qualification;

Experience of leading and managing a team within a marketing environment;

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent digital literacy skills; and

Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.

Our strong links with local employers, such as Vauxhall Motors, SP Energy Networks, Ecolab and Unilever, ensure learners have access to work placements and industry professionals to support their future careers. Media, games art and design learners develop skills in a number of areas and have access to 4K video recording equipment and specialist software applications.
