THE UDINE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, a member of the IES/SEK group, accredited by the Council of International Schools, with 250 students from 2 years of age through to 14, located in North-Eastern Italy (near Venice, Austria and Slovenia), set on a beautiful campus with modern facilities, is seeking for September 2017, a

MIDDLE SCHOOL MATHEMATICS AND/OR SCIENCE TEACHER with additional responsibilities as HEAD of MIDDLE SCHOOL (students aged 11-14 years).

As well as a strong academic grounding in Education, the successful candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic educator with a demonstrated ability to improve student learning outcomes, along with the organisational skills required to successfully manage the teaching, planning and assessment load required of a Middle School subject teacher in a fee-paying International school.

Prospective Teachers must be fluent English speakers and hold a Bachelor or Master’s Degree or equivalent diploma, preferably in Education, along with a teaching certification.

Candidates should also have at least four years of experience teaching in the Middle School age group.

Only candidates who have a prior established right (as well as the necessary, valid documentation to support this right) to work in Italy, will be considered for the advertised positions.

The Udine International School is a non-profit English language school for students of all nationalities and both sexes, committed to promoting international understanding and values as well as supporting the traditional values of the national culture.

The Udine International School was started as a Foundation in 2003 through a joint initiative with its founding partner, The International School of Trieste.

The school is divided into three sections:

Early Childhood for students aged 2-6;

Elementary School for students aged 6-11;

Middle School for students aged 11-14.

The school is the newest member of the International Education Systems group and has a commitment to promoting international education within the school and across the group.

The School was accredited by The Council of International Schools in December 2015 and remains committed to the ongoing cycle of school improvement provided through the structures of CIS. The teaching staff is recruited from all over the world and is committed to delivering a truly international program to the school’s 250 local and international students.
