We have a seven year curriculum in place leading to successful and improving KS4&5 results.  As part of this, students at KS3 follow a Mastery Maths Curriculum which we have developed within the department and students in all key stages take part in the yearly Maths Challenges.

Our Maths Team has a wide range of experiences and work collaboratively. We are a strong, cohesive and happy team that has a dedicated office and well organised and resourced department including 3 Maths Specialist Teaching Assistants.  All new staff receive a comprehensive induction programme and many of our Maths student teachers have chosen to stay on as qualified teachers.

We are a ‘Google Reference School’ and with training and support we develop our ongoing pedagogy.   All staff within the Maths Department receive a Laptop and the department uses a range of software and platforms to enhance the learning experience.
