Your responsibilities

For the coming school year, our school is looking for a Mathematics Teacher. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the mathematics curriculum and the development of students' learning in this subject. Specific responsibilities include: 

- Assessment of students' work 

- Constructive and timely feedback to promote learning 

- Use of appropriate technology to enhance learning 

- Development of a stimulating classroom environment to support learning 

- Use of relevant materials to encourage real-life learning contexts. 

- Development of a spirit of enquiry in our students 

- Participation in parents' evenings and collaborative planning meetings

Your profile

- You have teaching experience in the field of mathematics and hold a degree in this field. 

- You are passionate about the subject and are able to inspire students to develop skills and interest in mathematics in particular.

- You will be required to teach the IGCSE and IB Diploma in English. You will be expected to teach the IGCSE and the IB Diploma in English, so it is essential that you are fluent in English (both spoken and written). 

- You will have experience of the IB and MYP programmes and international schools

- You will be able to ensure that students meet the needs and requirements of the IB programme

- You will demonstrate a collaborative approach to planning and leading initiatives.
