Ateres Girls’ High School is seeking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic part time (0.8) Mathematics teacher to assist us with achieving excellence at KS3 Maths in our over-subscribed independent  faith school.

The ideal start time for this role is September 2016, however we are also accepting applications for January 2017.

Ateres Girls’ High School was founded in 2011 and caters for girls aged 11-16 from the Orthodox Jewish community of Gateshead. The school prides itself on having staff from a wide range of backgrounds.

The person appointed will have excellent subject knowledge and will possess an outstanding ability to maintain classroom discipline through dynamic and inspirational teaching. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate outstanding skills at differentiation as some of our Maths classes at KS3 are of mixed ability. Experience of teaching KS3 Maths is a requirement. It will be an advantage for the applicant to have experience in teaching KS4 Maths and to have experience with implementing assessment systems at KS3.
