Westside is looking for teachers who are passionate about education, learning and teaching.

This is a permanent Maths Teacher opportunity, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to offer a second subject such as Computing or Business Studies would be an advantage.

Celebrating a decade of success in meeting the needs of students at risk of exclusion, the school focuses on supportive, consistent and academically rigorous learning, coupled with high expectations. As the school expands beyond its current Y9-Y11 remit to cover Years 7-11, you will plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons that keep pupils focused on classwork and achieving their goals. In this Maths role you will need good classroom and behaviour management as you will be teaching mixed ability classes.   Experience in teaching Business Studies and IT will be an advantage.
