Saint Dominic’s International School is a long established school offering the three academic programs of the International Baccalaureate, PYP, MYP and DP. We are fully accredited by CIS and NEASC.
We are a true international school, with 60 nationalities represented amongst our student body, and 17 nationalities amongst the teaching staff. The entire school currently has close to 900 students of whom 400 are in Primary and 500 are in Secondary.
The students at Saint Dominic’s are enthusiastic, respectful and keen to learn. They are supported by parents who are involved and engaged in their child’s progress.

Mathematics teacher
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Mathematics teacher to teach mainly in the IB MYP programme with the possibility of teaching at Diploma level. Candidates with experience in one or both of these programmes would be preferred. You will be a highly effective and dynamic classroom teacher, with a genuine commitment to putting students first. You will also have a proven track record of securing excellent results in external examinations.

St. Dominic’s International School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through, independent international school with sixth form, situated in Outeiro de Polima in Portugal.
The educational programme and learning at the school is influenced by the International Baccalaureate Organisation and its IB Learner Profile, and the Dominican motto of ‘Veritas’ held by the founders of the school, which both value the commitment to learning through inquiry and an on-going search for truth.
In 1954, the Irish Dominican Sisters established the Bom Sucesso Girls’ Day School, which became St Dominic’s College, a co-educational school, in 1963. In 1988, St Dominic’s College was re-named St Dominic’s International School.
