Job overview
As a result of a maternity leave, Le Rosey is looking for a secondary school Mathematics Teacher (UK years 7-13, US grades 6-12) from September 2017, certainly until Christmas 2017 but more probably until mid-March 2018.
Institut Le Rosey is a dual-language (English and French) co-educational boarding IB World School for over 400 pupils with a unique two-campus system. Le Rosey offers a stimulating teaching opportunity for a fully qualified teacher, ideally with experience of or an interest in international education and IB experience
The post might be particularly attractive for a recently retired teacher or someone looking for an entry into international education. The school will provide accommodation for a teacher not recruited locally and this may be on campus – in which case, experience of or a commitment to boarding (the post would include boarding house duties) would be of considerable benefit.
The conditions of work for Le Rosey boarding teachers are attractive, and normally include accommodation, food and laundry facilities, an excellent living and working environment, and travel to and from Switzerland at the beginning and end of contract.

About Institut Le Rosey
Founded in 1880, Institut Le Rosey (www.rosey.ch) offers a rounded bilingual education in English and/or French for 440 students aged 8-18, leading to the IB Diploma and French baccalauréat. It also offers a unique two-campus system through its move from a 75-acre château setting by Lake Geneva to the school’s alpine campus every winter term. Class sizes are small and the main campus in Rolle is particularly well equipped. All students without exception sit the full diploma of the IB or the French “bac”; results are excellent (IB/French bac average of 36+ points), and all students go on to universities in the USA, UK and across the world, with well over 30% to the Ivy League, Ivy league Plus, Oxbridge, and top-ranked universities across the world.
Sports, Arts and Expeditions
Le Rosey is committed to holistic educational principles. An exceptionally varied, sports, expedition, arts and cultural programme takes full advantage of facilities which include riding stables, a sailing centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a fitness and “wellness” centre.
